Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa – Darłowo ul. Franciscans 4

It was built in the first half of the 14th century in Gothic style. In 1394, a church tower was built from the funds of Prince Bogusław VIII, and later a sacristy and side chapels were added. The height of the tower with the cross is 60 m. Next to the church stands a natural monument – the oak “Marcin Luther”, which was planted on 1 November 1817 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Reformation. The church is the resting place of many famous people: Erik I – King of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, Elizabeth the wife of Bogusław XIV, or Princess Jadwiga.
