The Alzbeta Hotel. Bardejów Zdrój. A historic hotel built in 1880 as a spa house. Famous spa visitors include Queen Marysieńka, Tsar Alexander and daughter Franciszek I – Maria Luiza. In July 1895, Elżbieta Bawarska (known as Sissi), wife of the Emperor of Austria, Franciszek Józef I, was staying here. Her stay commemorates the bronze statue of the empress placed in front of the guest house in 1903.
