Gerlachschmiede – Gerlach Forge (Old Forge). It is located between the towers of Rödertor and Galgentor. One of the most beautiful examples of half-timbered buildings.Until 1967 there was a smithy here. Destroyed during the Second World War, and reconstructed around 1951.Crest plaque is the work of the legendary blacksmith George Gerlach.
