Synagogue, Zamość. Built in 1610, in the center of the Jewish quarter. It is one of the most beautiful synagogues in Poland. Particularly noteworthy is the interior rich in late-Renaissance decorations with vivid colours, which testified to the prosperity of the municipality. Inside preserved beautifully decorated wardrobe aron ha-kodesh. Currently, the synagogue is managed by the Foundation for the Protection of Jewish Heritage, which makes the building available to visitors.
